Bollywood plans film on Sonia Gandhi

Director Jagmohan Mundhra has said that the Congress president Sonia Gandhi has given a go-ahead to his proposed film on her life which is scheduled to roll in 2009.
“I have already shared with Soniaji all the research that I have done on her. She has given me the go-ahead but asked me to hold on until the next general elections are out of the way,” Mundhra said.
Mundhra’s plans to film the real life story about how the late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi and Sonia Maino first met in England as students were stalled in 2007 amid protests by a section of the Congress party.
